Col Dean Tveit - Auctioneer - Owner and Operator of Border Country Auctions. Dean is a graduate of World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. He is a member in good standing with the Minnesota State Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association.
Karen Tveit is Dean’s wife, as well as co-owner and operator of Border Country Auctions. She handles all the behind the scene stuff.
Cashiers are:
Lynn Osse of International Falls. Lynn cashiers in the booth, assists with clerking, pre-sale set-up, end of sale settlement and registration of bidders.
Chris Polus of Ranier. Chris cashiers in the booth, assists with end of sale settlement, handles issues that may arise during the auction and registration of bidders.
Ringmen are:
Marc Windsnes of International Falls. Marc is a very entertaining and knowledgeable ringman. He also helps out with clerking and as a cashier when is needed. He has also been know to grab the mic and give auctioneering a try from time to time.
Andrew Kennedy of Interntional Falls. Andrew is one of our hardest working ringman (probably because he is young and strong). Andrew possesses great knowledge of tools and farm machinery. He also helps us with pre-sale set-up and post-sale clean-up.
Marv Ladsten of International Falls. Marv is an all around good guy who has knowledge in all areas. He too assists with pre-sale set-up and post-sale clean. Marv is an avid auction goer himself so he really enjoys himself at each auction.
Graham Keeney of International Falls. Graham has been helping us out with pre-sale set up for quite a while now, but is also a stand-in ringman when we need one. Graham is a dependable and honest man who loves digging around in other peoples stuff.
Andy Fogner of International Falls. Andy is a great ringman with a lot of knowledge and who always puts in a full day when we need him. He too assists with pre and post sale work.
Clerks:
Desiree Oswald of International Falls. Desi is top notch clerk who does a great job keeping track everyhting that is sold. She probably has one of the most important jobs of the day.
Ashlie Keeney of Interntional Falls. Ashlie is just getting started with us, but is already proving to be an excellent clerk.
Pin-Up Girls:
Eileen Johnson and Barbara Keeney of International Falls. These ladies do a great job getting the posters mailed out and traveling throughout the area making sure our auction posters are hung up. Wouldn’t you love to be in the car with them. They both also help out with pre-sale set up when needed.
